Hello!
The challenge this week at Simon Says Stamp is to use washi tape. I have a pretty big collection of it, so I decided to make a card for it. I love this silver and white washi tape from Recollections. It is so versatile because you can use it with pretty much any other color.
I splattered several Mister Huey's colors on the white background and then placed the washi tape over it. For the red polka-dotted paper from Recollections, I used some Picket Fence Distress Stain to mute out the red so it wasn't so bright. The chips and dip are stamps from Sweet Stamp Shop and I colored them in with my Copics.

I think the splatter paint under the washi tape was a great idea. The colors and image are all tied in together so nicely.
