You should be coming here from Kari Webster's blog, but if you want to start from the beginning or see the full hop, go here!
I wanted to make a card with balloons, but don't have any Lawn Fawn sets with balloons on them. So, what's a crafty girl supposed to do? I improvised and used speech bubbles from the "A Birdie Told Me" stamp set! They look just like balloons to me :)
I created the background with the Interlocking Backdrops stamp set and Hero Arts Soft Granite ink. I then placed a piece of vellum over it and sewed around the edge (it's a little difficult to see that in the photo).
I tied each of the balloons with Stone twine from The Twinery and covered the balloons with Glossy Accents. The banner is from a Simon Says Stamp die and the sentiment is from the Lawn Fawn Critters Ever After stamp set.
